This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Common poppy (Papaver rhoeas) has presumably been in flower for a few days in Swansea (given the number of depetalled pods). In Clyne woods, Yellow archangel (Lamlastrum geleobdolon) was present. Also noted White clover (Trifolium repens) and Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) in Gorseinon.
