This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. The Shining cranesbill (Geranium lucidum) and the Tasteless water pepper (Polygonum mite) were in flower in Loughor. The first Cuckoo flower (Cardamine pratensis) was in bloom in Bynea. In Swansea it was Apple (Malus domesticus) time as well as the day of the Ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea).
