Seeing the Changes 1344





The hot weather has produced changes in Loughor. Field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis) was in flower (accompanied by a bug). The sloe berries of Blackthorn (Prunus spinose) were ripening and the seeds of Creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense) getting ready to fly. In a bad butterfly year, spotted a Comma (Polygonia c-album) and a Small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae).
