This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. In Bynea, Greater celendine (Chelidonium majus), Birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), Thale cress (Arabidopsis thaliana), Charlock (Sinapsis arvensis), Rough chervil (Chaerophyllum temulentum), Prickly sow-thistle (Sonchus asper), Changing forgetmenot (Myosotis discolor) and Bur forgetmenot (Lappula squarrosa) were all in flower. In Loughor, Alexanders (Smyrnium olusatrum) and Shining cranesbill (Geranium lucidum) were out.
