Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. At the WWT Llanelli, the birds were mainly entering eclipse (non-breeding) plumage. This was certainly the case for the North American wood duck (Aix sponsa). Many birds, however, had offspring including Moorhens (Gallinula chloropus), Black swans (Cygnus atratus) and Tufted duck (Aythya fuligula).
