This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. I presume some part(s) of this plant are able to be worked up to make lather? Do you know which part(s)?
Apparently, you boil the leaves (rich in saponins) and the liquid can be used as a gentle soap.
