Seeing the Changes 600

Mega hot, so lots of activity. Lady's bedstraw (Galium verum), Marsh bedstraw (Galium palustre), Oxford ragwort (Senecio squalidus) and Burnet rose (Rosa pimpinellifolia) were in flower between Bynea and Penclacwydd. I noted a Peacock butterfly (Inachis io) sprinting  across the cycle track whilst a Grass snake (Natrix natrix) basked there (TOO FAST TO PHOTOGRAPH). A seven spot ladybird (Cocinella 7-punctata) explored. In Loughor, a pillar-box red, Pyrochroa serraticornis beetle checked out the herbs.
