Seeing the Changes 383

In Loughor, noted Columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris), Herb bennet (Geum urbanum), Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) and a Maple (Acer  spp) in flower. Lots of flies about including Empis tessellata and a Phora spp. There was also a Squash bug (Verlusea rhombea). Saw Small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) and more developed Lackey moth (Malacosoma neustria) larvae and an adult Small copper (Lycaena phlaeas). In addition, Digger wasps (Ectemnius cavifrons) were active in this locality.
