Seeing the Changes 81









The Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) is finally unfurling its red leaves.In Loughor and Bynea, the Ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata) has developed its tutu-like rib. In Bynea, the first of the Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) flowers have unfurled along with the Bluebell (Endymion non-scripta), Greater stitchwort (Stellaria holostea), and Common field speedwell (Veronica persica). There were also a white umbellifer, probably Hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium) and a yellow crucifer probably Wild radish (Rhaphanus raphanistrum).
