First off I would like to say excellent blog! I had a quick question that I'd like
to ask if you don't mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself
and clear your thoughts prior to writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting
my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing but
it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost simply
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips?
Appreciate it!

With respect to clearing my mind for writing. It depends on the section. 'Seeing the Changes' is generally preceded by a 6-8k run (on which I carry a camera). The more general topics are picked up from articles I have read or news I have heard on TV or the radio. The more individual opinion pieces are harder, as I am generally trying to think back on experiences and relate them to what's going on now! I have generally found writing easy (easier than 'small talk').
