Perhaps a little over-selling? Obviously better than traditional plastics but produces emissions in its manufacture. The greenest way of selling beer or cider would involve re-washable glass. Perhaps folk could be persuaded to hire their own for a deposit? Breakages of glass, however, can cause problems.
