The recent news about earthquakes and lava flows on Hawaii's Big island (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/may/04/hawaii-evacuations-ordered-as-kilauea-volcano-erupts) takes me back to earlier days when I saw Kilauea take out the famous Black sands beach. It also reminds you of the power of these processes on our planet.
