This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Seeing the Changes 1792
Flowers and critters in Gorseinon. Observed Herb Bennet (Geum urbanum); Annual nettle (Urtica urens); Smooth sow-thistle (Sonchus oleraceus); Prickly sow-thistle (Sonchus asper); Cut-leaved cranesbill (Geranium dissectum) and French cranesbill (Geranium endressii) flowering. Also spotted a tiny bee on a dandelion, small Cocksfoot moths (Glyphipterix simpliciella) in a buttercup, an Oedemera nobilis male beetle and a Seris clavipes fly.
