Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Turning the Corner Against Avian 'Flu?
It's certainly encouraging that some Scottish seabirds (notably Northern gannets and Shags) have developed antibodies to Avian 'flu (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/oct/20/wild-birds-gain-immunity-to-avian-flu-in-encouraging-sign-amid-deadly-outbreak). This, along with declining infection rates in poultry, suggests the worst might be over. Until the next infection comes along?
