Crops Cropped From UK Menus?

UK folk have been warned that crops including broccoli; cauliflower and cabbage will be in short supply this Spring. Locally-grown Brassicas  have emerged too early in the 'season' as a consequence of a mild Autumn (Fall) and Winter. Unseasonal flooding in key European areas, will also stop these shortfalls being 'cured' by imports (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jan/13/uk-faces-broccoli-and-cauliflower-shortage-this-spring). People will, of course, have to get used to disruptions in their food supplies. Rampant climate change is making it very difficult for growers to maximise their crops. Importing crops (especially from distant locations) will also increase prices.
