More Autumn fungus in Loughor. Probably an Ochre brittlegill (Russula ochroleuca)?

Hi Paul, it looks more like a bolete than a Russula. Did the underside of the cap have pores or gills? Maybe Boletus pallidus (not sure if it is a UK species though)?

Thanks for that. My impression was that there were pores rather than gills?

The Comma butterfly ( Polygonia c-album) gets its name from the punctuation-like mark, on the underside of its wings.
