When Did They Come to the UK? 12. Parrot's Feather Pond Weed

Parrot's feather (Myriophyllum aquaticum) was first brought to the UK around 1878, as a useful oxygenator for ponds and water gardens. It spread in the wild, due to illegal dumping of aquarium plants by unthinking folk.
