When Did They Come to the UK? 10. Himalayan Balsam

Himalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera) was introduced to the UK from the Kashmir, via Kew Gardens, by a Dr Royle in 1839. By 1855, it was recorded as 'naturalized' in Hertsfordshire and Middlesex.
