The major water industries seem to be pretty active in their quest to destroy the wildlife in UK rivers (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/jul/02/raw-sewage-olympic-park-wildlife-haven-wetlands-london-thames-water). In 2019, raw sewage was reportedly directed into our rivers on 200,000 occasions. In deed,Thames Water single-handedly pumped waste into the legacy Olympic Park Wetlands for 1000 hours (via a Combined Sewer Overflow) for 1000 hours in that same year. This can't go on if we want to have viable environments on our door-step. Polluters must pay!
