This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. All We Brits Worry About?
Storm Filomena dumps record amounts of snow on Spain and all we Brits appear to worry about, are possible shortages of lettuce and tomatoes in our supermarkets (https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/jan/15/spanish-snow-storm-uk-salad-shortage-lettuce-tomato)! This appears to be yet another illustration of an extreme weather event, linked to climate change. We can get by without contents of greenhouses. We need to do something about 'greenhouse gases'.
