This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Handbrake Turn by Michelin
The Michelin Guide has given a first star to a vegan restaurant in France. The establishment is ONA, in Ares (near Bordeaux). Michelin, not only gave a classic star, but also one of their new green stars for ethical practises (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jan/19/michelin-awards-star-to-vegan-restaurant-for-the-first-time-in-france). The young, female chef, who set up ONA, was apparently unable to get financial support for the project from banks and had to resort to crowdfunding.
