Perhaps Not the Best Choice?

Hydrangeas may look pretty (I like their colour changes with altered pH) but they may not have been the best choice for my Welsh garden. Climate change and the debacle over the foolishly privatised Water Companies appear to combine to make feeding the plant's water dependence progressively difficult.

The fungus season is also early this year with what might be a Summer bolete ( Boleatus reticulatus ) in my Loughor garden.
