Supertrawler Sweep

One possible benefit of changes in the UK's economic links would be having the option of banning supertrawlers from our coastal waters (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/mar/07/ban-supertrawlers-from-uk-waters-after-brexit-say-green-campaigners). It seems pretty evident that these vessels, not only take fish at an unsustainable rates, but also cause great damage to the sea floor in areas where they operate. It remains to be seen, however, whether this option to create meaningful marine protections will actually be taken.
