Leaves and flowers of Garlic mustard (
Alliaria petiolata) can be added to salad. The leaves can also be chopped, mixed with olive oil, Parmesan cheese and nuts, to make a pesto. The plant's seeds can be used as a mustard and mature roots taste like mild horseradish.
