Plants We Used To Use 246. Large hop trefoil

In medieval Europe, Large hop trefoil (Trifolium aureum) was believed to protect against witches. This plant was inserted into a horse's shoes to ensure a safe journey. Large hop trefoil was generally thought to bring good luck and prosperity.
