Plants We Used To Use 247. Large plantain

Large plantain (Plantago major) is rich in calcium and vitamins. Its young, tender leaves can be eaten raw but older leaves are best boiled in stews. Herbally, this plant has been used for bladder infections, bronchitis, colds and bleeding haemorrhoids.
