There are safety concerns and no scientific evidence, but Hemp agrimony (Eupatorium cannabium) was used to treat a wide range of conditions, including liver and gallbladder disorders. In 15th and 16th Century England, a wreath of these flowers was placed on an insomniac's head, to induce sleep.
