Plants We Used To Use 203. Ground ivy

The leaves and stems of Ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea) have been used as a herb, in place of mint or thyme, as a flavouring for soups, stews and egg or meat dishes. In traditional medicine, Ground ivy was given as a treatment for colds, asthma and bronchitis. This plant has anti-inflammatory properties.
