Feeling the Heat

Reliable data confirm that 2019 was the 2nd or 3rd (depending where you were) hottest year on record (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/aug/12/hottest-decade-climate-crisis-2019). In deed, the average global temperature increased by almost 0.4०C in the last 10 years. Not only was 2010-2019 the hottest decade on record, but every decade since 1980-1989, has been hotter than the previous decade. This suggests that the climate crisis is accelerating and the urgency of curtailing further change should be a priority. We have long passed the point of arguing whether anthropogenic climate change is occurring.
