Fire, Litter, Excrement: It Must be the British on Staycation!

Wardens of natural sites, in both coastal and inland areas, are becoming increasingly concerned about the complete lack of care shown by some staycationing holiday makers in their areas (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/aug/14/uk-staycations-countryside-coast-visitors-trail-of-destruction). In some locations, extensive fires have been caused (as the vegetation is tinder dry). 'Fly camping' in restricted areas can also be rife, with abandoned equipment left in place (for someone else to deal with). Masses amounts of litter (also for clearing up) are left behind by some revellers and the outdoors 'used as a giant toilet'. As someone said, " It's as if they have no idea how to behave in the countryside".
