Plants We Used To Use 213. Hawthorn
Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) berries are rich in amino acids, minerals, pectin and vitamin C etc. Extracts have been used to protect against heart disease, control elevated blood pressure and reduce high cholesterol values. They have also been applied to the skin, to treat boils and sores.
