Fireworks

I know that some people get excited about fireworks (the term 'fireworks' is even a synonym of 'excitement'). I had kind of hoped, however, that, in these days of Covid-19 lockdown (involving both people and their nervous pet animals) and fears about climate change, fireworks would be becoming less popular. And that is without mentioning burns injuries and the difficulties of emergency services dealing with these and the odd house fire in lockdown.
