This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Another One Bites the Dust; Jeff Beck 1944-2023
Yet another distinctive and innovative English guitarist leaves us. Jeff Beck first came to notice, replacing Eric Clapton in the Yardbirds. He went on the form his own group, at one time featuring Rod Stewart as a vocalist (https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2023/jan/12/legendary-rock-guitarist-jeff-beck-dies-aged-78). He seems to have died of meningitis at the age of 78.
