Plants We Used To Use 65. Deadly nightshade

Females of the Royal Court in Medieval Italy, attracted suitors by squeezing Deadly nightshade (Atropa bella-donna) berries into their eyes to the dilate pupils. Atropine is the active factor and it's much used in eye surgery.
