Plants We Used To Use 80. Broad-leaved dock

The most tender, lemony leaves from young Broad-leaved docks (Rumex obtusifolius), with developing flower stalks, can be eaten. Leaf juice can be applied, as a compress, for bruises. Root extract is used as a remedy for jaundice and other liver problems, skin ailments and boils.
