Plants We Used to Use 493. Wild parsnip

On sunny days, aerial parts of Wild parsnip (Pastinaca sativa) produce localised skin rashes. The roots, however, are edible. A 'tea' from them, was used to treat 'women's complaints' and a poultice applied to inflammations and sores.
