A Future With Less Food?

Around 80% of calories consumed by humans, come from only 10 crops. Global heating will reduce the production of many of these staples. Rice, maize and wheat are likely to be particularly affected (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2021/aug/10/global-food-supplies-will-suffer-as-temperatures-rise-climate-crisis-report). As well as changing productivity, sea level rises will reduce the area that can be devoted to agriculture. Feeding the world is going to get progressively more difficult, as the planet heats up.
