Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head?

It seems that major changes in the planet's rainfall pattern, will be one of the biggest effects of the climate crisis (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2021/aug/17/global-water-crisis-will-intensify-with-climate-breakdown-says-report). Extreme rainfall appears to intensify by 7% with every degree Centigrade rise in ambient temperature. As the planet heats, wet areas will consequently become very much wetter. These locations will have a greatly increased risk of flooding. Concomitantly, arid areas will become drier. Such places, will be more likely to experience droughts and wildfires. We will no longer usually have the 'right' amount of water in the right places
