Early Warning of Alzheimer's?

A University of California San Francisco study fitted over 1000 'old' (chronologically challenged?) people (average age 81) with activity 'watches' for 14 days. If their records evidenced a prolonged period of inactivity between 9am and 7pm, this was interpreted as a 'daytime nap' (https://www.theguardian.com/society/2022/mar/17/naps-early-sign-alzheimers-disease-study). The study revealed that, taking long daytime naps, could be an early indicator of the onset of Alzheimers disease. The naps didn't cause the mental impairment, they simply were an early warning sign. Must try to stay awake!
