Morriston Hospital is a large, 750 bed medical establishment on the outskirts of Swansea. It's a busy location dealing with a large number of conditions, as it is the regional, acute, tertiary hospital for South-West Wales. Morriston Hospital is also a teaching location for training Swansea University medical students. The hospital now has another claim to fame. The performance of the Health Board's solar farm has exceeded all expectations. It provides all the electricity requirements for Morriston Hospital, even in the depths of a Welsh winter!
