Plants We Used to Use 478. White dead nettle

Young White dead nettle (Lamium album) leaves; shoots and flowers can be eaten raw. More mature leaves, are steamed or lightly-cooked to act as a green. Its 'tea' is recommended for insomnia. Dried, flowering stems are applied externally for rectal or dermatological disorders.
