This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Seeing the Changes 1604
A much better crop from my Loughor moth trap last night. There was a Dot moth (Melanchra persicariae), a Great oak beauty (Hypomecis roboraria) and numerous species of carpet moths. The highlights (the 3 at the top) were a Scalloped oak (Crocalis elinguaria), a Peppered moth (Biston betullaria) and an Elephant hawk moth (Deilephila elpenor).
