This blog may help people explore some of the 'hidden' issues involved in certain media treatments of environmental and scientific issues. Using personal digital images, it's also intended to emphasise seasonal (and other) changes in natural history of the Swansea (South Wales) area. Plants We Used To Use 307. Moschatel
Moschatel (Adoxa moschatellina) root stock was said to have antimicrobial properties. A root decoction was used to reduce anxiety and improve sleep quality. Oral plant extracts were taken for Measles and Small pox. Moschatel poultices were applied externally for wounds.
