Plants We Used to Use 327. Pennyroyal

Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) was used, like Spearmint, to flavour food; wine, as well as herbal 'teas'. Folk remedies included using it to stimulate menstruation. High concentrations were said to cause abortions.
