Plants We Used to Use 329. Perennial cornflower

Perennial cornflower (Centaurea montana) is weakly diuetic and mildly purgative. An infusion, from its dried flowers, was used to treat coughing; dropsy and constipation. It was also a mouthwash for bleeding gums and an eye bath for conjunctivitis.
