Plants We Used to Use 424. Spear thistle

Spear thistle (Cirsium vulgaris) leaves and stems can be eaten raw or cooked (when they have been compared to Globe artichokes). The plant's leaves and roots were believed to have anti-inflammatory; diuretic and liver protective properties.
