Plants We Used to Use 454. Tuberous pea

Tuberous pea (Lathyrus tuberosus) tubers are rich in vitamins. They can be boiled or roasted, as a root vegetable. Tubers were also fermented to produce beverages. An oil was obtained from this plant's seeds. Flowers were distilled, in the 16th Century, to make perfume.
