Plants We Used to Use 455. Tufted vetch

Although slightly toxic, tender pods and seeds of Tufted vetch (Vicia cracca), if lightly simmered, can be eaten, like mange tout. Vetch was also used as an expectorant, to treat coughs and bronchitis, as well as a diuretic, for urinary problems.
