Plants We Used to Use 408. Silverweed

Silverweed (Potentilla anserina) can be eaten raw, boiled or roasted. Its spring roots have been likened to parsnips, chestnuts or sweet potatoes. Silverweed has also been used as an astringent, to reduce inflammation, in gargles, washes and 'teas'.
